For me, World by Wine is more than just a blog—it's the culmination of my lifelong passion for wine and a deep-seated sense of purpose. Inspired by the Japanese concept of Ikigai, which represents the intersection of what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for, World by Wine embodies my personal Ikigai.

My journey into the world of wine began long before World by Wine took shape. With a desire to deepen my understanding and appreciation of wine, I pursued formal studies to become a certified sommelier. Growing up, I was surrounded by the sights, sounds, and aromas of the wine world, thanks to my father—a dedicated wine salesman. As a teenager, I often accompanied him on visits to clients, eager to absorb every aspect of this fascinating industry. It was during these formative years that my love for wine took root and began to flourish.
